It may be that the purple color shows through, then the shampoo may have worked for too long. Therefore, never leave the silver shampoo to work for longer than five minutes. After washing twice with normal shampoo, the purple color will be gone again. With porous hair, there is a greater chance that the color shows through to purple, so leave the shampoo to work for less time.
