Powerful and ergonomic hair clipper
The Ultima Clipper (UC-01) replaces the Vintage Barber Clipper (VB-01). Why change something that is already good? Because Kyone has discovered new developments that improve the clipper in every respect:
- 50% quieter
- 300 minutes of operating time, twice as many minutes
- 25% more powerful
The UC-01 is an ergonomic model that fits perfectly in the hand, with a non-slip, matte finish.
Just like the other Kyone clippers, this clipper also has a very powerful battery. The UC-01 features the new Lithium Stage 3 battery. This, in combination with a very powerful High Performance Rotary motor, results in a very high cutting capacity, allowing it to cut through any type of hair effortlessly and smoothly. Even thick, dense hair!
The new UC-01 has a Hard Carbon steel cutting head with an Oil Sump and Ventholes (cooling fins). This significantly reduces the chance of wear and heat buildup. Using the lever on the side of the machine, the cutting head can be adjusted in height from 0.5 to 3.5mm.
A fade blade is also optionally available for a clean transition and the perfect fade.

Oil Sump:
These function as an oil reservoir and retain the oil longer, so the cutting head stays lubricated for longer. This also reduces friction and resistance, which can help prevent the blades from overheating. In short: more speed/RPM and more power.
Ventholes:
The ventholes/cooling fins in the cutting head ensure faster heat dissipation. They also help remove accumulated debris from between the blades and the machine. Both aspects significantly extend the lifespan of both the clipper and the cutting head.
Standard cutting heads require continuous oiling, which is often 'forgotten'. Oil has a cleaning and lubricating effect. In practice, however, this is not done often enough, causing the cutting head and machine to wear out faster. This can then result in (unjustified) complaints and dissatisfied customers.
These new cutting heads address many of these issues; however, regular maintenance and oiling are also highly recommended for these cutting heads.
